Throughout her career, Kiko has focused on helping organisations, teams and individuals achieve their potential…

From the age of eight, Kiko knew she wanted to live and work internationally. This ambition took her to Japan after university where she learnt the language, working in a wide range of fields, from editing and translating for Buddhist publications to working in brand development in the fashion industry. Experiencing different kinds of management cultures led to an interest in organisational culture and leadership.

She began her organisational consulting career working for Personnel Decisions International in Tokyo, conducting management assessments and coaching of Japanese and International executives. Her desire to work at a more strategic level took her to Insead in France. Upon receiving her MBA, she joined Accenture (then Andersen Consulting) in London in their Change Management Competency, where she specialised in strategy alignment and change.

In 2001 she had the opportunity to work with Professors Chan Kim and Renee Mauborgne implementing their ideas with clients as they were writing their best‐selling book, Blue Ocean Strategy. She led senior client teams through the Blue Ocean Strategy innovation process, and implemented a highly successful Tipping Point Leadership customer care programme for Norwich Union Direct which became an Insead case study.

A chance meeting led to her joining McKinsey’s Organisation Practice, where she was able to deepen her expertise in applying Positive Psychology and Appreciative Inquiry to organisational change. She also helped refresh McKinsey’s core offering on Performance Transformation, with particular focus on aspiration-setting, leadership and energising the organisation, and spearheaded new work on organisational speed and agility which was published in McKinsey Quarterly in 2006.

At ReConsulting, Kiko continues to help senior executives align around their strategy and mobilise their organisation.

When she’s not working, Kiko can be found on the tennis court, on a horse, on skis, reading, or playing with her dog, Ninja. Or she may be doing any of the above while taking in cultural sites, good restaurants and beautiful vistas on six of the seven continents.

Kiko holds a BA cum laude in History from Yale University, and an MBA from Insead. She is an accredited mediator in the UK, and has completed a foundation course in Psychotherapy and Counselling from Regent’s College, London. She is accredited facilitator in Myers‐Briggs, Appreciative Inquiry, and Blue Ocean Strategy.

Kiko has worked in Japan, Australia, South Africa, the Middle‐East and across Europe. She speaks English, Japanese, French, some Italian and a smattering of German.
